"I grew up in Ayrshire, Scotland, my work background was in sales, where my first taste came from convincing customers they absolutely needed a better car stereo or a fresh fan belt at Halfords. (Because who doesn’t trust a 17-year-old with their car troubles?) From there, I moved on to tailoring, selling suits to companies and very famous sports teams!

In 2011, I swapped Scotland for London and got into tech consulting, where I discovered that helping businesses navigate cloud transformations was surprisingly similar to selling suits: get the right fit, avoid the overpriced fluff, and make sure nobody walks away with regrets.

Fast forward to 2022, I had just started a family. On the very same day, my son started nursery, my wife returned to work after maternity leave, and I officially launched Transforming Technology. Safe to say, it was a day full of nerves and excitement!

When I’m not working or chasing around after my kids, you’ll probably find me running. I’m one of those people who actually enjoys it (I know, weird), and one of my proudest achievements is running a marathon in under three hours."
